We are all treaty people.

I acknowledge my responsibilities as a white settler to the Lekwungen, Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples on whose traditional territory I live and work. I strive to bring my whole heart and clear mind to my work in a field, dominated by white settlers, that has done harm to Indigenous peoples through pathologization and denial.
